Computing

This site provides an introduction to the various computing resources available to the students and faculty of the Economics department.

The first section gives an introduction to the computer facilities within the department and across campus.

The second and third sections are dedicated to the main software available for the students and faculty in the department. This includes econometric and TeX software and standard application software.

The fourth section reviews the main economic databases available for the department and also provides a link to some of the main economic webpages on the Internet.

The ITS Help Desk is the central computing support site for the UCSC campus.
